All participants are being asked to raise £250, this money will go towards LMFC to help us transform the lives of young people.

At Les Mills Fund for Children, we are committed to creating a healthier and fitter planet for our future generations.  We want to do our bit to ensure as many children as we can get the opportunity to grow up healthy, fit and most importantly; happy. To fulfill our mission, we provide grants to charities and organisations who we believe will do their most to improve the education and physical and emotional wellbeing of children.

LMFC works with carefully selected organisations who share our values and have the resources available to help children. LMFC raises money to fund other charitable projects within the UK. In order to raise money our dedicated team carry out a wide range of charitable work.

What do we fund?

We award the funds we raise to registered charities and accountable non-profit organisations who we believe will do their most to improve the education and physical and emotional wellbeing of children. Your work may focus on one or more of these areas:

  1. Living in Poverty
  2. Physical & Mental Health Problems
  3. Health & Wellbeing
  4. Living With Disability

Taking part in the cycle means your money will be going much further and supporting project like Cyclists for Cancer(CFC).

CFC make bespoke cycles for young children who are living with cancer. CFC recently received £4500 from LMFC and we hope with this event we can give them more to support more bikes for kids like Jameson. Jameson is 14 months into his battle against Medulloblastoma. Jameson's father said he has really struggled with the side effects of both radiotherapy and chemotherapy through the whole of his treatment. This along with his diagnosis had sent Jameson into a deep depression. When talking to Jameson about how he was feeling he would always say he just wants to be like the ‘normal’ kids and play on his bike.

CFC came to speak to Jameson and showed him some options of trikes specially designed for children with additional needs.  Jameson’s face lit up instantly! After receiving Jameson’s trike, he wanted to be on it all the time. It has helped him build up his leg muscles and in turn helped his stability.  His father said he seems to have so much more energy now he uses the trike regularly.

You can help more children like Jameson feel this way by taking part in the cycle and helping us support CFC and other projects further!
