Chase The Sun is a unique race, taking place on the longest day of the year, cycling from sunrise to sunset, to see just how much the cyclists can ride during daylight

Starting at 4.41am, in the Thames estuary, the 200+ mile route bi-sects south London, passing Richmond park, bridging the Thames, touching part of Wiggin’s Olympic Gold time trial route, plus all the usual cross-country highlights, Silchester Village Hall, mendip hills, Cheddar gorge, arriving on the seafront finish at Burnham-on-Sea.

This 205 mile trip will end at 21.33, at dusk, for a total of 17 hours travelling. This cruelling challenge is not for the faint-hearted, and will require stamina, determination, and your support.

By donating to our cyclist on this monster task, you are helping LMFC raise funds to help children and young adults everywhere to lead mre active and healthy lifestyles, improving their wellbeing, both physically and mentally.
