London to Brighton Cycle

21st -22nd September 2018

Why are we doing it?

Here at Les Mills Fund for Children (LMFC) we support many charities and charitable projects with the goal to make the planet a fitter and healthier place. We raise vital funds to help children in the UK live a healthier lifestyle and are supported by Les Mills UK.

We work with organisations that have the passion and resources to help children. We award funds to improve the education as well as the physical and emotional wellbeing of children in order to create a healthier society.

With the funds raised from this cycle we are aiming to buy a specially adapted bike for visually impaired pupils at Joseph Clarke School. The new bike will help pupils learn how to cycle in PE lessons and break times and also discover the joy of cycling whilst having fun with their friends. As pupils achieve new skills, they will improve both their fitness and self-esteem.

Money raised from this cycle will support this cause amongst others.

Scottish Sports Futures were funded £5000 by LMFC. The money was used to fund their Jumpit programme

Greenhouse Sports were also funded £5000. They used the money to fund afterschool activities.
